The Southern Virginia Fashion Council (SVAFC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing and uniting the fashion and creative industries through Southern Virginia to strengthen the fashion ecosystem in our region.
Rooted in Danville’s rich textile heritage - once a hub for fabric production and innovation - we honor our past while building a dynamic future where fashion serves as a cultural and economic driver for Southern Virginia.
Formerly known as The Haus of Fashion Inc., the Council serves as a hub for designers, stylists, models, photographers, creatives, educators, and cultural leaders seeking to connect, learn, and thrive.
Through regional initiatives like nHAUS magazine, Danville Fashion Week, workshops, panel discussions, cultural exhibits, and industry showcases, we foster creativity and drive economic and cultural development. Our mission is rooted in representation, sustainability, and education - ensuring that fashion is accessible, empowering , and future-focused for all.
